Q. Why play flag football ?

Q. What is a skill assessment and why is it needed?
A skill assessment is a set of drills designed to assess the player’s experience/capabilities. Each player will throw the ball, be timed while they run a designated distance, and run sideways and/or back and forth.
The coaches watch the kids during the skill assessment and rate their level of skill, physical coordination, and speed. This information is used during the player draft to distribute the kids with similar skill, coordination, and speed levels as equally as possible across the teams.
